Job Summary:
This role involves investigating and resolving complex financial and fraud-related inquiries for merchants, requiring a keen eye for detail and strong analytical capabilities. You will be responsible for mitigating risk by identifying fraudulent patterns and making informed decisions. Additionally, you will de-escalate stressful situations with empathy and professionalism, while meticulously documenting all actions and contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep-dive investigations into merchant accounts to resolve fraud alerts.
- Analyze financial data to identify and mitigate risk patterns.
- Professionally de-escalate challenging customer situations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of investigations.
- Collaborate to report new fraud trends and suggest system optimizations
- Proven experience in fraud prevention or financial risk management.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong customer service and empathetic communication skills.
- Experience in financial risk management, fraud prevention, payments processing, banking operations, or fintech is highly preferred.
