Requirements Include:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of consulting Electrical Engineering experience.
- Registration as a PE (required).
- Department of Defense design experience is desired.
- Must be able to supervise and manage projects of varying sizes.
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, writing and verbal communication skills.
- Produce complete construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications.
- Perform and supervise the execution of designs, including medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans, and equipment layout.
- Perform and supervise the execution of both interior and exterior lighting design and calculate footcandle to ensure lighting design meets IESNA requirements.
- Participate in meetings with clients and provide engineering support through design and construction phases including responding to AHJ comments, shop drawing review, and responding to RFI’s.
- Review of deliverables, including QA/QC through design and construction.
- Serve as a technical resource to internal staff.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
- Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
- Experience with AutoCad and REVIT
- RCDD certification is a plus
