- Akkodis is recruiting for a Vehicle Integration Validation engineer - Autonomous Vehicle for a client in the Mt Vernon, WA area. This is an onsite contractr position with a pay range of $43 hour to $70 an hour depending on education, experience and location. The Vehicle Integration Validation group is responsible for validation testing of engine, transmission, vehicle, and exhaust aftertreatment hardware and software used on client trucks. Group members develop specialized roles (powertrain software, vehicle performance, aftertreatment systems, etc.) while maintaining cross-disciplinary training and knowledge. A validation engineer develops and executes vehicle validation strategies, plans, and testing for ADAS, powertrain, and control systems. Analyzes data, identifies issues, and provides technical recommendations. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages validation projects, ensures test coverage, and delivers program objectives on time.Minimum 7 years truck/automotive related work experience desired
- Bachelors in Engineer (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Computer Science
- Minimum 1 year of Functional Safety testing/development experience desired
- Experience with vehicle software highly desired
- Experience with vehicle software and service tools including DAVIE 4, Bendix ACOM, Eaton Service Ranger 4, CAN, J1939, data acquisition systems (Vector CANalyzer), calibration tools (ATI Vision), or vehicle instrumentation preferred.
