Supervisor of Construction - Fiber

Akkodis is seeking a Supervisor of Construction – Fiber for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will lead a team of network design engineers to deliver small cell wireless node projects in the Right of Way.Rate Range: $50/hour to $52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Supervisor of Construction – Fiber job responsibilities include:Lead and manage a team of network design engineers to deliver small cell wireless node projects in the Right of Way.Provide overall project leadership, including managing trackers, schedules, deliverables, and financials for node design projects.Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of node designs and closeout packages.Identify process improvement opportunities and enforce organizational standards for quality and compliance.Support permitting and utility coordination for encroachment, traffic control, and other entitlements required for ROW work.Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure all jobs are tracked and reported in project management systems.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction-related field preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in node engineering design or construction implementation, including direct supervision of teams and vendors.Proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivot tables) and strong financial acumen for managing project trackers and budgets.In-depth knowledge of small cell and fiber optic infrastructure standards, including NESC, NEC, GO95, and OSHA, with the ability to read and evaluate construction drawings.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
