Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Developer-AI/ML with a Westlake Village, CA -based client to join their team.

JOB TITLE: Sr. Developer-AI/ML

EMPLOYMENT TYPE/DURATION: Contract role – 6 months (possible conversion to FTE)

COMPENSATION: Pay Rate:$65- $70/hour

LOCATION DETAILS: On-Site- Mon-Fri 8am -5pm PST -Westlake Village, CA

Top Required Skills:

• 3 years of experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
• 3 years of experience with Python and its libraries for ML, NLP, AI, and Search technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, SpaCy, BM25, etc.).
• 2 years of experience with AWS services and cloud technologies for developing scalable AI solutions.
• 2 years of experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• 1 year of experience with NER (Named Entity Recognition) and search technologies like BM25, BM42, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Sr Developer, you will:

• Work on cutting-edge projects in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI (Gen AI).
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI-powered solutions for business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with a talented team of engineers and data scientists to push the boundaries of AI technology.
• Contribute to the architecture and scaling of AI systems and applications, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
• Drive the implementation of Gen AI and Agentic AI technologies to create intelligent workflows.
• Lead initiatives involving LLM training and the development of powerful AI models.
• Work with modern search technologies like BM25, BM42, and NER (Named Entity Recognition) to enhance AI capabilities.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Ensure that solutions align with business objectives while focusing on scalability and maintainability.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and Machine Learning technologies, integrating them into solutions where applicable.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree (MS in Machine Learning preferred).
• 3 years of experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
• 3 years of experience with Python and its libraries for ML, NLP, AI, and Search technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, SpaCy, BM25, etc.).
• 2 years of experience with AWS services and cloud technologies for developing scalable AI solutions.
• 2 years of experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• 1 year of experience with NER (Named Entity Recognition) and search technologies like BM25, BM42, etc.
