Akkodis is seeking a Senior/Project Engineer, PE for a direct hire position with a client in Omaha, NE.
*** No Corp-to-Corp; No C2C; No Referrals from C2C ***
Rate Range: $125,000.00/year to $150,000.00/year; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior/Project Engineer, PE job responsibilities include:
- Handle complex engineering tasks, including project design, cost estimation, and calculations using advanced expertise
- Prepare project documents and ensure work aligns with scope, schedule, and budget
- Collaborate with project managers to report progress and identify challenges
- Assist with scopes and schedules as well as attend client meetings
- May supervise and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff
- Provide guidance related largely to overall objectives, critical issues, and new concepts
- Maintain project and client information in the firm’s project management system
Qualifications:
- Professional engineering license (PE)
- Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental engineering, or closely related field
- 6 or more years of engineering experience
- Experience in stormwater and water resources
- Familiar with the following civil engineering design software: Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Storm CAD, or FLO-2D
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, master planning, stream restoration, dam/levee design, construction observation, or stormwater design is a plus
