Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master Advanced with a Lincoln NE-based client to join their team

Pay Range - $45-$48/hr. ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $45–$48/hr on W2

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to coach and support Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, strengthen team collaboration and self-organization, and drive continuous improvement through data and Agile best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, PI planning, and team-level Agile activities.
• Serve as a servant leader and coach teams toward greater maturity, predictability, and self-organization.
• Maintain healthy backlogs, clear priorities, sprint goals, and well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Identify and remove impediments while coordinating with leadership to resolve dependencies.
• Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, cycle time, and predictability.
• Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile principles.
• Promote accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate training sessions and help teams adopt Agile best practices.
• Utilize tools such as Jira to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach supporting software development teams.
• Scrum Master certification required.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and working knowledge of Kanban/Lean.
• Experience with Agile project management tools, preferably Jira.
• Strong facilitation, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
