Field Service Technician

Akkodi's is seeking a Field Service Technician I for a 6 Months contract position with a client located in Ticonderoga, NY 12883. Provide accurate and timely documentation, including daily service call reports, weekly tracking reports. Prioritize workload with manager to ensure an efficient, cost-effective preventative maintenance schedule comes as a plus.

Location : Ticonderoga, NY 12883

Duration : 6 Months

Shift: Mon – Fri 6am – 4:30pm

Pay Range: $23/hr - $25/hour on w2 (without benefits); the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Summary:

This is a hands-on position that requires technical problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Travel to one customer location in Ticonderoga, NY to perform service work.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation, including daily service call reports, weekly tracking reports.
• Prioritize workload with manager to ensure an efficient, cost-effective preventative maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and customer issues with effective problem-solving skills.
• Respond to emergency service calls as directed, which may occasionally occur nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer personnel, representing the company in a professional manner.

Skills:

• Technical aptitude in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, cellular/Bluetooth devices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and driven to deliver results.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
