Research And Development Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an R&D Engineer for a 6 months contract with a client located in Des Plaines IL

Pay Range: $40/hr. - $45.00/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Summary:

Experience vacuum systems, gas management; Conducts research and development activities for an organization. Applies research theories, principles, and models when conducting experiments and research activities. Responsible for summarizing research results and communicating findings to internal and external bodies.

May require a graduate degree and requires 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
