Project Engineer

Akkodis is seeking of a Project Engineer for a Direct Hire/Permanent role with one of our Industry leading Client in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate would have a Professional Engineering License (PE) with 6 years or more of engineering experience in stormwater and water resources. The relocation assistance will be provided depending upon the distance and some other parameters.

Salary Range: $100K - $115K per annum with benefits, the salary range may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This role generates ideas and creates designs that provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Handle complex engineering tasks, including project design, cost estimation, and calculations using advanced expertise
• Prepare project documents and ensure work aligns with scope, schedule, and budget
• Independently develop new techniques, coordinate with Company's teams, and guide others on design tasks
• Collaborate with project managers to report progress and identify challenges
• Assist with scopes and schedules as well as attend client meetings
• May supervise and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff
• Provide guidance related largely to overall objectives, critical issues, and new concepts
• Maintain project and client information in the firm’s project management system
• May travel and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions at project sites in various stages of construction.

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• 6 years or more of engineering experience.
• Experience in stormwater and water resources.
• Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, master planning, stream restoration, or stormwater design is a plus.
• Ability to represent Company in a professional manner at all times.
