Piping / Pressure Vessel Engineer Responsibilities include:
- Develop, validate, and optimize mechanical fastening and torque specifications for manufacturing assemblies.
- Troubleshoot mechanical assembly defects, fastener failures, and torque-related quality issues to improve product reliability.
- Support the implementation, programming, and maintenance of smart torque tools and automated fastening systems.
- Review engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and assembly documentation to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for assembly and fastening process issues.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Production, and Design Engineering teams to improve assembly efficiency, quality, and process performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience supporting piping systems, pressure vessels, or industrial manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of ASME pressure vessel and piping codes, including ASME BPVC and ASME B31 standards.
- Experience with pressure testing, mechanical troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of pressurized systems.
