What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Analyst position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is seeking a Materials Analyst role is a 5 Months Contract with a client located in Clearwater, FL.
Pay Range: $30-$33/hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze material inventory position, shortages, and supply risks
- Investigate and resolve material-related issues caused by supply disruptions
- Monitor shortage reports, open demand, and past due materials
- Coordinate daily with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to understand and resolve material shortages
- Escalate critical shortages with clear communication and recommended actions
- Develop and maintain reports, trackers, and analysis to improve material visibility, shortage management, and operational decision making
- Ensure execution of critical tasks to support shop performance and customer satisfaction
YOU MUST HAVE:
3 years of experience in Planning Experience with MRP/ERP Systems/SAP Experience in manufacturing planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (namely Excel, Access, Power BI)
WE VALUE:
2-year degree
Ability to work independently and take direction from others
Established skills and experience in Materials management/Planning
Detailed-oriented, accuracy of work is critical to factory performance, customer satisfaction
Priority setting, sense of urgency and timing are vital to successfully performing this role
