Akkodis is seeking a Biopharma Manufacturing Associate for our Contract position with a client. It is for Novato, CA location.
Position: Manufacturing Associate
Location: Novato, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $25/hr - $29/hour without benefits (Pay rate varies based on experience)
Schedule/Hours: Alternating 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts (Wednesday–Friday/Saturday)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and support biomanufacturing processes including cell culture, filtration, chromatography, centrifugation, and protein purification.
- Collaborate on process improvements and documentation updates.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and Quality systems (Deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls, etc.).
- Contribute to departmental metrics and cross-functional projects.
- Gain experience with automation and business systems (LIMS, MES, PI, ERP, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline OR
- Associate’s degree/Biotech certificate with 2 years of experience in biotech or regulated manufacturing.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work and shift-based operations.
