Technical Recruiter

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Recruiter for a long-term contract opportunity with KIK Consumer Products in Salem, VA. We are looking for candidates with 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally supporting both hourly and salaried positions within a manufacturing or light industrial environment.

This role will partner closely with site HR teams to source, screen, and recruit talent across technical, production, and salaried positions including Maintenance Technicians, Blow Mold Technicians, Chemical Process Technicians, Quality professionals, Production Workers, Forklift Operators, and Supervisors.

Rate Range: $38/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Location: Salem, VA 5 days a week onsite

Technical Recruiter job responsibilities include:

• Partner with site HR teams to source, screen, and submit qualified hourly and salaried candidates.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting across manufacturing, technical, production, and supervisory positions.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, community outreach, and other recruiting channels.
• Build local candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, community engagement, and event-based recruiting.
• Support weekly hiring events and high-volume recruiting initiatives.
• Develop strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and site HR partners throughout the recruiting process.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools to manage candidate activity and hiring workflows.

Desired Qualifications:

• 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting in a manufacturing, light industrial, or high-volume environment.
• Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried positions.
• Experience recruiting technical manufacturing positions such as Maintenance Technicians, Electricians, or similar skilled trades.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other candidate sourcing tools.
• Experience working with an applicant tracking system such as FactoryFix, Bullhorn, or a similar platform.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting hiring events or community-based recruiting is a plus.
