What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure Administrator position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is seeking Infrastructure Administration for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ - ( 3 days onsite in a week)- Hybrid (3 days on site in a Week). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Pay: $60-68/hour – All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Hiring Manager Notes:
- Ideally, 7-10 years with Microsoft development and support (desktop or web) and can navigate the complexities of Infrastructure Administration at a large corp.
- Must haves - Working knowledge and hands on experience with several of the following: Citrix or VMWare (Omnissa) application hosting, IIS or Apache server, Windows Server and Sql Server Admin, Network share and RDP navigation, minor Database Admin experience, traditional SDLC in Agile Scrum environment.
- Expert communication skills, written and verbal
- Not looking for a DevOps Engineer. The candidate may not be regularly code writing or reviewing, but more working with various support teams on requests, timelines, escalations, meeting attendance, etc.
- Day-to-day duties include apprenticing under a senior Infrastructure Admin (FTE) who will be retiring 2027.
