Akkodis is seeking an Electronics Technician III for 06 month Contract job with a client in Grand Prairie, TX (Onsite). Ideally, looking for applicants with a solid background in the Aerospace industry is a must.
Rate Range: $25/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Summary
We are actively hiring Electronics Technician III professionals to join a leading aerospace and defense organization. This is a senior-level, hands-on role focused on advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex electronic and avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of avionics and electronic systems (system, board, and component level).
- Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test equipment to diagnose issues.
- Interpret and work from:
1. Schematics
2. Wiring diagrams
3. Technical manuals (CMM, IPC standards)
- Conduct testing, inspection, disassembly, and reassembly of electronic components.
- Support root cause analysis and failure investigations.
- Document work in ERP/MES systems for compliance and traceability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair
- Strong hands-on experience with:
1. Oscilloscope (required)
2. Multimeter and test equipment
- Experience with PCB / board-level or component-level repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Proven ability to troubleshoot independently and explain your process
