What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a Contract with a client in Dickinson, ND. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop hardware and software while providing timely technical support to end-users.
Rate Range: $21 – $31/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experienced: 3 to 4 years of experience in similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common desktop applications.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
