Coordinator

Akkodis is seeking a Coordinator for a contract-to-hire position with a client in Carson, California. This role will be working in a manufacturing facility on second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

*** No Corp-to-Corp; No C2C; No Referrals from C2C ***

Rate Range: $20.00/hour to $23.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Coordinator job responsibilities include:

• Coordinate sales and work orders internally and externally.
• Retrieve invoices and necessary paperwork from customers.
• Ensure timely processing of orders to meet goals.
• Liaise between purchasing, production planning, and quality teams.
• Resolve work order, purchase order, and inventory issues.
• Expedite part shortages and prioritize orders using MRP/backlog reports.
• Release manufacturing orders and handle logistics transactions (e.g., bill of lading, commercial invoices).
• Track orders and ensure accurate system transactions to meet on-time delivery (OTD) goals.
• Monitor departmental KPIs.
• Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and order generation logic.
• Familiarity with supply chain operations: planning, inventory control, purchasing, shipping/receiving.
• Strong organizational and initiative-taking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office equipment
• Understanding of AS9100 or ISO9001 standards.
