Akkodis is seeking a Buyer for a 6 months Contract position with a client located in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid Schedule)

Pay Range: $26 - $28/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer/Planner to support our global procurement operations under the Athens project. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of supply chain or procurement processes and a strong interest in growing within the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage global communication with indirect suppliers, including:

• Purchase Order (PO) confirmations

• Receipt acknowledgements

• Supplier contact database updates

• Coordination of PO cutovers and legal entity changes

• Work with PO reports, supplier databases, and open indirect transactions

• Ensure data accuracy and timely updates across procurement systems

• Follow established procedures and guidelines to complete tasks

• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)

• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related area

• Familiarity with procurement systems and supplier databases is a plus

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work under immediate supervision and follow detailed instructions
