Senior User Experience Designer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate is crafting seamless, intuitive end‑to‑end experiences across digital and connected vehicle touchpoints.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior User Experience Designer Job Responsibilities Include

• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand customer needs, behaviors, and expectations across digital and vehicle touchpoints.
• Design intuitive end‑to‑end user experiences by mapping user journeys and defining interactions across interfaces such as touch, voice, and gesture controls.
• Structure information and interactions in a clear, logical manner to ensure seamless and engaging user experiences.
• Integrate accessibility and universal design principles to deliver inclusive experiences that meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage localization partners to ensure consistent, global user experiences.
• Advocate for design excellence by prioritizing user needs and applying systems‑thinking to solve complex experience challenges holistically.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in UX, service design, or experience design roles.
• Proven expertise in user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and designing end‑to‑end user experiences across digital and connected product ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, universal design principles, and systems thinking, with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders and deliver brand‑aligned, customer‑centric solutions.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
