Java-Python-Senior Eng

Akkodis is seeking a Java-Python-Senior Eng for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and optimizing scalable APIs, orchestration frameworks, and asynchronous architectures while building reliable, production-grade systems through robust testing, CI/CD, and data-driven solutions.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java-Python-Senior Eng Job Responsibilities Include

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs, microservices, and ETL applications using Java and Python technologies.
• Build and optimize Python-based orchestration frameworks, asynchronous architectures, and distributed workflows for high-performance systems.
• Develop real-time analytics and reporting solutions using microservices architecture and relational/non-relational databases.
• Integrate advanced components such as LLMs, vector databases, and observability tools to support adaptive and agent-based system behavior.
• Ensure application reliability and code quality through unit/integration testing, type safety, and production-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate on system design, platform evolution, and DevOps practices while contributing to deployment, monitoring, and logging solutions.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 6–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience with Java and Python technologies.
• Strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, RDBMS, and Python-based backend development in Agile environments.
• Proven experience building scalable APIs, orchestration frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and working with modern data formats, async processing, and cloud-native systems.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
