The Opportunity
We’re looking for a strategic and systems-minded Crisis Practice Administrator to lead the operations, people, and performance of our Crisis Practice.
This role blends leadership and management (≈ 70%) with client-facing, billable work (≈ 30%). You’ll help ensure the practice operates efficiently, profitably, and in full alignment with our firm’s vision and core values.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Manage the Crisis Practice team — guiding counselors and project coordinators, holding the team accountable, and driving engagement through leadership.
- Own the Processes — document, refine, and optimize all core practice systems (staffing, billing, reporting, quality control).
- Drive Performance — track and report key metrics (utilization, profitability, client satisfaction) into the firm’s Scorecard.
- Fuel Growth — lead new-business pitches, proposals and RFP responses for crisis communications opportunities.
- Empower the Team — ensure team members have the tools, training and resources they need to succeed.
- Integrate Operations — lead practice meetings, manage quarterly objectives and collaborate with other practice areas to support firm-wide goals.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading teams or operations in a professional-services setting (agency or consulting preferred).
- Experience in crisis communications
- Strength in organization, process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to motivate, manage and mentor others.
- Ability to balance leadership, operations, and client-service responsibilities.
- Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework preferred.
