What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Host/Cashier position at Akai Hana Japanese Restaurant?
Akai Hana in Wilmette is an authentic Japanese Restaurant known for serving fresh sushi and traditional Japanese cuisine. We are looking for a sociable host to be the first customer contact and greet our customers with a smile and friendly attitude! Must be able to work nights and weekends.
We are currently searching for a front host/cashier to join our team.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Handling online take out orders using POS system
- Processing credit card/cash payments without error
- Assisting others as needed
Desired skill/experience:
- Has great work ethic who can work as a team
- Excellent verbal communication skill
- Basic computer skill (POS system)
- Familiar with or have interest in Japanese culture/cuisine
- Able to work flexible hours
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
