AKA NYC is seeking an ambitious Group Account Director to manage arts and attractions accounts. Reporting to the SVP, Arts & Culture, the Client Services Group Account Director is a full-time exempt position that is based in New York City.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Client collaboration: You will be the primary point of contact for a select number of our arts and attractions clients.

Strategic thinking: You will support the development and execution of integrated campaign strategy in partnership with senior leaders, helping to shape thoughtful, effective marketing approaches.  Further, you will brief/guide creative output from our in-house Creative team.

Media maven: You will oversee and implement cross-platform media plans in collaboration with our in-house Media team, ensuring campaigns are executed seamlessly and perform effectively.

Critical thinking: Working alongside our in-house Business Intelligence team, you will assess and report on the success of our campaigns, making proactive recommendations to your clients where necessary. 

Team leadership: You will guide and support junior team members, overseeing day-to-day work and helping to ensure high-quality output across accounts.

Project ownership: You will lead campaign execution across accounts, managing timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Big-Picture thinking: You will contribute to the agency’s commercial and business objectives. 

New Business: You will contribute to the agency’s commercial goals and support opportunities for organic client growth and new business initiatives. You will share responsibility to promote and raise profile of the agency with clients and new business prospects. 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 8 - 10 years in a Senior Advertising or Marketing role (ideally servicing the entertainment industry).
  • A commitment to deliver strategic, innovative, and effective integrated campaigns for our clients.
  • The ability to lead and inspire both clients and colleagues to deliver the best work.
  • A collaborative approach to problem solving and trouble shooting.
  • Thorough knowledge of all AKA’s services.
  • Understands and delivers against financial goals.
  • A roster of well-established client and supplier relationships.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Social Networking platforms
     
WHAT WE OFFER:
The salary range for this position in New York, New York is $125,000 - 150,000 per year.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience. A discretionary bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package.
