The Role

As a Product Engineer – AC/DC Integrated Modules (IPM), you will play a critical role in developing and executing integrated power solutions. You will serve as the bridge between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customers, ensuring products are technically sound, manufacturable, and delivered at peak performance.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with full ownership across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Product Engineering & Design

• Own the lifecycle of AC/DC integrated modules (IPM), including specifications, drawings, and BOMs
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, internal standards, and IEEE/ANSI guidelines
• Manage engineering changes (ECOs), product customization, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for internal use and customer deliverables

Manufacturing & Testing

• Act as the primary engineering liaison to the production floor
• Support fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting in real time
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and cost optimization
• Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and validation protocols
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, firmware, and integration issues within the test environment

Quality & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Quality and Supply Chain teams on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
• Interface directly with customers, sales, and project teams to clarify technical requirements
• Collaborate with global teams and vendors to ensure alignment on materials, timelines, and performance

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
• 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, product development, or technical support
• Background in transformers, power systems, or electrical equipment manufacturing
• Experience in Engineered-to-Order (ETO) environments

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of power electronics (AC/DC <20kVA), including:
• IGBTs, inverters, rectifiers
• Low-to-medium voltage transformers
• Experience with:
• Microprocessors, sensors, and firmware interfaces
• DC batteries and electrical connectivity systems
• Ability to read and interpret:
• Electrical schematics
• PCB layouts
• Component datasheets
• Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)

Operations & Execution

• Experience with BOM management and change control systems (Oracle preferred)
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
