Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily production and workflow in the sheet metal department
- Supervise fabrication staff and support training and development
- Ensure quality control and compliance with customer specifications
- Maintain safety standards and enforce company policies
- Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and scheduling teams
- Monitor equipment and minimize downtime
- Lead and Supervise Fabrication Teams
- Review work for accuracy, compliance with drawings, and adherence to specifications.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety policies; conduct safety audits and training.
- Implement Lean/5S practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Ensure machines are properly maintained and downtime is minimized.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing leadership
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and production drawings
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
- Excellent communication and team‑leadership skills
