Quality Manager – Injection Molding

Requirements

• Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for injection molding operations, ensuring consistent product quality and process effectiveness
• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures, documentation, audits, work instructions, and compliance with ISO 9001:2015, MILSPEC, UL, and customer requirements
• Direct internal, external, customer, and certification audits while serving as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies, auditors, and customer quality inquiries
• Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, CAPA management, nonconformance investigations, KPI monitoring, trend analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Oversee product and process quality planning activities, including FMEAs, PPAPs, control plans, testing, inspections, new product introduction, ERP setup, and engineering change management
• Train and educate employees on quality systems, policies, and procedures while collaborating across departments to resolve customer complaints, maintain compliance, and enhance operational performance

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of quality experience in injection molding, plastics manufacturing, or a related production environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in quality systems and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001:2015, MILSPEC, UL requirements, and Lead Auditor certification
• Proficient in core quality methodologies such as SPC, APQP, CAPA, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, and GD&T to drive continuous improvement and compliance
• Hands-on experience with inspection and metrology equipment, including calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and precision gauges
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quality Management System (QMS) software
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment while promoting safety, workplace organization, accountability, and operational excellence

Salary: $70k - $120k
