Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service by acting as a trusted benefits professional and fostering strong carrier/vendor relationships
- Collaborate with account managers, producers, and support staff to drive new business growth and ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Manage a diverse book of business across medium to large accounts, providing guidance and support on benefits programs
- Oversee policy administration including rating, quoting, RFP preparation, open enrollment materials, and resolution of coverage or billing issues
- Ensure regulatory compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA requirements while supporting claims and client inquiries
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in employee benefits
- Active Life and Health insurance license required
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities for fostering client and carrier partnerships
- Hands‑on familiarity with an Agency Management System (AMS).
