Overview
We are seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily movement of dry bulk tanker shipments within a defined region. This role is responsible for scheduling deliveries, supporting drivers, and ensuring safe, on-time, and accurate execution of freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and dispatch daily loads, coordinating pickups and deliveries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers (routing, scheduling, paperwork)
- Communicate with customers to manage shipment timing and service needs
- Monitor orders, emails, and dispatch systems to ensure accurate scheduling
- Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and billing procedures
- Support invoicing accuracy through proper documentation and load tracking
- Assist with freight sourcing and maintain strong customer relationships
- Participate in shared dispatch coverage and occasional on-call support
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or bulk/tanker operations preferred
- Plastics/resin or pneumatic tanker experience a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficient with basic computer systems and dispatch tools
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
