We are looking for a Day Shift Ingredient Handler to join our rapidly expanding team in the Portland area. The Ingredient Handler assists with setting up production line, preparing ingredients, supplying production the lines, and, ensuring overall flow of the production line. Ingredient Handler will follow all company policies with regards to Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
Schedules are typically Monday-Friday starting at 6:00 am for 8-10 hour shifts.
Starting pay is $20.00/hour.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive/collect raw material ingredients and measure specific quantities according to Provide support for the manufacturing and packaging processes in Production
- Obtain vegetable blends and other materials from dry area, freezers or cooler and deliver to Production prior to running out of materials
- Weigh seasoning accurately per recipe
- Verify physical materials against P.O. and Receiving Documents
- Put away materials
- Transfer materials to different locations
- Pick materials
- Return unused material to stock room
- Perform inventory cycle counts
- Maintain proper documentation retention
- Utilize the bar-code/warehouse management system (JDE) to do all of the above
Position Qualifications
- High School Education; or one to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- must have basic reading and math skills;
- must be able to follow simple written or verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
- Able to push, pull products unassisted
- Capable of working/standing on feet for extended periods of time
- Have reliable transportation
- Available to work weekends, or over time as the need arise
