What You’ll Do
As a key contributor within the New Product Development team, you will:
- Design, develop, analyze, and test new and existing electrical products using analog, digital, or mixed-signal technologies.
- Perform reverse engineering, circuit simulation, PCB layout, breadboarding, and prepare documentation supporting prototypes and production.
- Ensure each product is delivered on-time, on-budget, and in line with third-party compliance requirements (UL, CSA, FCC/ISED, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, mechanical engineering, firmware engineering, and lab teams to bring ideas to life.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability and smooth production launch.
- Evaluate and approve suppliers, components, materials, and emerging technologies to enhance product design and reliability.
- Guide lab testing and certification activities with nationally recognized testing labs.
- Jump into related engineering tasks that advance product quality, innovation, and performance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology.
- 1–3 years of experience in new product design or similar engineering environment.
- Strong foundation in component-level circuit design, troubleshooting, and interpreting diagnostic/testing equipment.
- Proficiency with Altium, SPICE simulation, microcontroller programming, and the ability to read/understand C code used in embedded systems.
- Skilled in common software tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills—able to juggle multiple priorities with precision.
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and communicating technical information clearly.
