What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow Motor Operator - Receiver position at AJAX TURNER CO INC?
The Warehouse TMO - Receiver position is responsible for unloading product from delivery trucks, entering product into our WMS, and stocking assigned picking locations. This position utilizes a sit-down double mast forklift, single mast sit-down forklift, and a standing reach truck.
| Position Responsibilies: | ||||||
| - Safely operate tow motor and other types of warehouse equipment as necessary. | ||||||
| - Performing and completing daily pre-trip safety inspections on tow motor being operated. | ||||||
| - Operating an iPad with Warehouse Management Software. (VIP - EasyOps) | ||||||
| - Safely unload delivery trucks. | ||||||
| - Checking each order for order accuracy. Communicating any discrepiences to the receiving manager. | ||||||
| - Enter Purchase Orders into our WMS. (VIP - EasyOps) | ||||||
| - Putting away received products. | ||||||
| - Complete daily stocking of assigned forward pick locations. | ||||||
| - Ensuring to protect product freshness standards by properly rotating older product to pick locations first. | ||||||
| - Maintaining proper cleanliness of warehouse areas. |
| Requirements: | |||||||
| - Candidates must be detail-oriented, have basic mathematical skills, and safely work in a fast-paced environment. | |||||||
| - Sit down tow motor experience highly preferred. | |||||||
| - Stand up reach truck experience highly preferred. |
