Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial restaurant equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing precise repairs, and ensuring optimal operation of restaurant & HVAC equipment. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting of restaurant equipment and HVAC systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance on-site at restaurants across NWA & Fort Smith River Valley.
- Utilize BMS to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
- Operate field service vehicles to reach sites promptly for on-site repairs and/or installations.
- Assist with technical support by providing expert advice on equipment troubleshooting and system upgrades.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery meets quality standards during repairs or installations.
- Apply industry best practices in safety procedures while working with systems or in busy environments.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and optimize equipment performance through analysis skills.
Experience
- Proven experience working in HVAC, restaurant equipment repair, or industrial maintenance environments.
- Strong background in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting systems, and mechanical repairs.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and the ability to perform related repairs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with field service operations within a service setting.
- Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to operate precision tools and other diagnostic instruments effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing; additional language skills are a plus.
