Audit Senior Associate – Public Companies
Location: Hybrid (1–2 days onsite)
Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 (DOE)
Travel: Minimal client site visits

Role Overview:
As an Audit Senior Associate, you’ll lead audits for public companies, ensure compliance with PCAOB standards, and mentor junior staff, all while working in a flexible hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize audits for public companies in accordance with PCAOB standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q).
- Perform risk assessments, develop tailored audit strategies, and document audit procedures.
- Test internal controls for SOX compliance and evaluate control deficiencies.
- Utilize AI-driven audit tools (DataSnipper) for data extraction, matching, and testing.
- Review complex areas such as revenue recognition, fair value measurements, and stock-based compensation.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
Technical Requirements
- CPA license (or actively pursuing).
- 3 years of audit experience, preferably with public companies.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, PCAOB auditing standards, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance.
- Proficiency in audit software and advanced Excel skills; experience with AI tools like DataSnipper is a plus.
- Ability to research and resolve complex accounting issues (ASC guidance).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
