Job Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Lockport, NY
Job Description:
We need a resource located in Lockport, NY who has a strong Controls Engineer background who can communicate and integrate with higher level systems on the IT side. They should be strong with GM GCCS standard. More qualifications are below. This should be a minimum of 6 months, could go longer. 40 hours minimum, but will often work up to 10 hours of OT. Expenses are available.
Required: ??? Rockwell PLC experience ??? SLC programming experience ??? Familiar with manufacturing environment (work on site) ??? Component selection and procurement for machine networking components as needed ??? Write scope of work for maintenance to install networking equipment Desired: ??? GM IECN knowledge ??? Create DCDLs ??? Flash/program Cisco 3400 switches ??? Update AutoCAD drawings for IP address & network changes. Alternatively, redline and submit to update.
