Are you passionate about the world of beauty and eager to share your expertise with the next generation of cosmetologists? We're looking to immediately fill for a Cosmetology Instructor position! Join our team as a Cosmetology Educator and help shape the future of the beauty industry!
No educator license? No problem! We can work to move you towards educator licensure while you gain paid hands-on experience within the classroom.
We're looking for someone with flexibility within their schedule, but primarily able to work Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction: Deliver high-quality education in various aspects of cosmetology, including hair, skin, and nail care, in both classroom and practical settings.
- Mentorship: Guide and inspire students as they develop their skills and knowledge, preparing them for successful careers in the beauty industry.
- Curriculum Development: Assist in the creation and improvement of instructional materials and lesson plans to ensure an engaging and up-to-date learning experience.
- Assessment: Evaluate student performance through practical and theoretical assessments, providing constructive feedback and support.
Qualifications:
- Cosmetology Experience: At least one year of hands-on experience working as a cosmetologist behind the chair.
- Education Passion: A genuine desire to teach and mentor aspiring beauty professionals.
- Licensure: Active cosmetology license in North Carolina.
