Position Title: Senior Corporate Accountant
Reports To: Director of Corporate Finance
Location: Wichita, KS or Elkhart, IN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
Performs general accounting functions including but not limited to journal entries, daily banking, account reconciliations. Assists in activities involved with preparation of financial statements. Assists as needed in the daily operations of the Corporate Finance department.
Essential Functions:

- Provide daily timely and accurate reporting on company’s financial position.
- Prepare journal entries and post to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related financial reports.
- Provide timely and accurate data to internal and external auditors.
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts.
- Other duties as assigned to support the organization.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly financial packages
- Review division journal entries
- Prepare consolidated flux and other miscellaneous reporting items
- Review divisional flux analysis

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, professional journals, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers.
- Ability to define and solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a variety of situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to work well with others.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Exempt and 40 hours
Travel: 10%
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other applicable feed.
- CPA, MBA or CMA certification preferred, but not required.
