Position Title: IT Help Desk
Reports To: Systems Administrator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
Provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems and other office equipment. Respond to queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. Setup computers and user ID’s for new employees and replacement systems and perform a variety of department duties.
Essential Functions:

- Provide first level contact for resolution of customer issues.
- Identify, diagnose, and utilize technical understanding of computer systems and other specialized products to provide solutions to basic technical issues.
- Apply working knowledge to assist users with a variety of software and office equipment including copiers, printers, and other automated equipment.
- Research solutions to user technical issues.
- Protect business operations by maintaining proper information, systems confidentiality, and security.
- Analyze user’s technical issues and effectively communicate the solution in a patient and courteous manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the organization.

- Must have good technical knowledge, understand the problem, and patiently communicate the solution to a diverse customer base.
- Initiative, confidentiality and able to work as a team.

This position is primarily office-based; however, employees will also be required to work within a factory/manufacturing environment on a regular basis. The noise level in the office is usually quiet, while the factory environment may present elevated noise levels and may require appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

- High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- CompTIA A certified or equivalent
