We’re hiring a Home Comfort Systems Diagnostic Technician to perform residential service and maintenance under the leadership of our HVAC Service Supervisor and Operations Management.

• Service, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling equipment.
• Inspect duct systems; keep materials and company equipment in service-ready condition.
• Identify, wire, and start up complete residential HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults; recommend and execute repairs to restore performance.
• Conduct start-ups; test and record operational data.
• Perform comprehensive system inspections and communicate findings to dispatch/customers.
• Explain work performed and next steps to dispatch/customers.
• Coordinate scheduling with the office each day.
• Source and order needed parts; arrive prepared for each appointment.
• Transport parts, materials, and tools; maintain accurate inventory/accountability.
• Complete all digital paperwork accurately and on time.
• Debrief each call with dispatch/customers and document results.
• Ensure jobsite cleanliness upon completion.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle.
• Adhere to company performance standards and code of ethics.
• Represent Airtron with courtesy and professionalism.
• Use protective floor savers on footwear within client homes.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in residential HVAC.
• EPA Certification.
• Solder/brazing skills.
• Effective English communication, verbal and written.
• Beginner computer literacy; capable with a computer, laptop, or tablet.
• Basic web navigation and email proficiency (Microsoft Outlook or similar).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work overtime with short notice; occasional weekends.

• HVAC trade school certification.
• 2 years in residential HVAC.

• Team-first mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Positive, collaborative approach.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and internal partners.
• Comfort working across all organizational levels.
• Related experience may substitute for education.
• Strong safety awareness.

• Primarily at occupied homes and construction sites; minimal office work.
• Vehicle travel to and from job locations.
• Exposure to construction settings (equipment, ladders, attics, crawlspaces), noise, dust, hazardous materials, and odors.
• Indoor/outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, wind) with appropriate PPE.

• Operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift.
• Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Regular climbing, bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching.
• Work at heights; climb ladders and stairways.
• Wear required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective vests, gloves, and safety-toe, construction-grade boots.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Hear and distinguish speech/sounds for safe equipment and phone operation.
• Close/distance/peripheral vision with normal depth perception (with or without correction).
• Communicate clearly by spoken word.
• Enter data via keyboard or 10-key on handheld devices/computers.
• Reach overhead; signal, grasp, hold, lift, turn, push, and pull tools/materials.
