**Position Summary
**
The Molding Technician supports production by helping keep molding and automated work cells operating safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality. This role is responsible for front-line troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, startup support, minor adjustments, and helping identify issues before they become bigger problems.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to watch a machine run. It is a role for someone who wants to be actively involved in how the process performs. The right person will be dependable, mechanically capable, attentive to detail, and interested in continuing to grow technically over time.

**What you will do
**
Support the day-to-day operation of molding and automated production equipment
Monitor machines and work cells for performance, quality, and downtime issues
Help with equipment startups, changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
Serve as a front-line resource for minor automation and equipment issues
Identify problems early and escalate larger issues when needed
Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership to keep production on track
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow work instructions, process requirements, and quality standards
Document production or process checks as required
Support continuous improvement and look for ways to improve uptime, quality, and efficiency

Willing to troubleshoot, learn, and take ownership
Able to follow process discipline and safety requirements
Comfortable working night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule

**Preferred background
**
Experience in manufacturing, molding, machine operation, automation, maintenance, or a related hands-on industrial environment
Experience troubleshooting equipment issues in a production setting
Exposure to plastics, automation, robotics, or industrial maintenance is a plus
Technical training, trade school coursework, or a desire to continue education in a manufacturing or industrial field is strongly valued

**
High school diploma or GED required
Technical training or continued education in manufacturing, maintenance, mechatronics, automation, or a related field is a plus
**

**Physical and work environment requirements
**
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, move, or handle materials and components as needed
Ability to work around production equipment in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work safely and follow all plant safety requirements
