Sales Associate (Brick Specialist)

We are looking for energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our LEGO®-branded airport retail team.

As a Brick Specialist, you will help create a fun and memorable shopping experience for LEGO fans of all ages. This is an active, sales-focused position that requires strong communication, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Excellent performance may lead to additional hours and the opportunity to move into a regular, long-term position.

Key Responsibilities Customer Experience and Sales — 80%

• Welcome and engage every customer in a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic manner.
• Ask questions to understand each customer’s needs and recommend appropriate LEGO products.
• Explain product features, themes, promotions, and new releases.
• Suggest relevant add-on products to help customers complete their purchase.
• Meet individual and store sales-performance expectations.
• Accurately process purchases, returns, and other transactions through the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude during busy periods.
• Follow all pricing, discount, payment, and loss-prevention procedures.

Store Presentation — 10%

• Keep the sales floor, registers, displays, and customer areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Restock merchandise and ensure products are properly displayed and priced.
• Follow established LEGO® brand presentation and merchandising standards.
• Complete daily cleaning and opening or closing responsibilities as assigned.

Inventory and Stockroom Operations — 10%

• Assist with receiving, counting, organizing, and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, low-stock items, and potential shortages to management.
• Follow all safety and merchandise-handling procedures.

Schedule Requirements

Candidates must be available to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, which may include:

• Early mornings
• Evenings
• Weekends
• Holidays
• Additional hours during busy travel periods

Because this position is located in an airport retail environment, dependable transportation and the ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts are essential.

Physical Requirements

This is an active retail position. Team members must be able to:

• Stand and move throughout the store for extended periods, including at least two consecutive hours.
• Frequently talk, hear, reach, bend, and handle merchandise.
• Occasionally kneel, crouch, stoop, and safely use a ladder.
• Access the sales floor, register area, stockroom, and merchandise-receiving areas.
• Lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing at least 30 pounds.
• Perform register, stocking, cleaning, and inventory duties throughout each shift.

This position is initially part-time. Team members who demonstrate strong sales performance, excellent attendance, reliability, and a positive attitude may be considered for additional hours, long-term placement, and future advancement opportunities.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
