We are hiring an aircraft parts and airplane Rotables Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative in Fairfax, VA.
Amazing communication abilities and the capacity for teamwork are required for this position in order to effectively grow within the Sales Team. An inside sales representative will halp support current client accounts as well as supporting outside sales reps in quotes for their direct sales efforts. This position will also be entering large amounts of data into our company's ERP software. The inside sales team will examine, put together, and handle sales orders. This might involve duties including validating part numbers, pricing, and lead times, reviewing contracts, RFQs, RFPs, and acknowledging client portal engagement. Strong organizational abilities, meticulousness, and the capacity to perform well under pressure are requirements for this position. Both in person and via online correspondence, this person must be extremely professional. To address problems, they must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role is on-site with some work from home capability after a probation period.
Responsibilities:
- Understand aviation, airplanes, parts, IPCs, and how things work in this industry.
- Will work together with direct sales professionals to thoroughly comprehend the administrative and sales process.
- Offers present and potential clients the technical knowledge they require.
- Work hard to enable or guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Arranges and makes sure shipments go out to allow sales representatives to demonstrate items, if needed.
- Is in charge of handling somewhat difficult consumer calls.
- Often sells goods and services via the phone or online (with quotas and/or productivity requirements).
- For assigned accounts, administers product updates and agreement renewals as well as the proposal development processes.
- Calls lists of potential clients to generate leads and manages the sales of third-party components and services.
- Responds to regular sales leads from managers, sales representatives, our lead generation systems, marketplace system, or sales engineers.
- Sells goods and/or services to businesses; makes sales calls; does product demonstrations; and creates sales documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
- Should have an FAA license (A&P, Pilot, Dispatcher, or other)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language to ICAO 4.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any FAA license; Pilot (Private or Commercial), A&P, A&P IA, Dispatcher, P106
- Intermediate to Advanced experience in the following systems/software: Microsoft Office.
- Excel SmartView, PowerPoint, HFM, SAP/Business Warehouse, Workday, AgilePoint and Tableau.
- HubSpot CRM and Odoo ERP a plus.
- Basic Microsoft PowerPoint/Excel knowledge.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Contract review experience a plus.
- Previous data entry experience.
