Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Child Care Assistant Director to manage daily operations of our after-school program. This role requires prior experience in childcare or education and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Director plays a key role in staff supervision, parent communication, and program quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support child care staff
• Ensure child safety and program compliance
• Manage daily after-school and camp operations
• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents
• Handle behavioral and individual child needs appropriately
• Maintain accurate digital records and documentation
• Create a positive, engaging environment for children and staff

Qualifications (Required)

• Previous experience in childcare, education, or youth programs
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in a fast-paced setting

Preferred:

• Supervisory or management experience
• After-school or camp program experience
