What We Are Looking For

The Sales Director is responsible for successfully driving the sales function in their allocated region, executing the sales strategy and being the enterprise leader for the sales team

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement successful sales strategies for the region in alignment with the overall company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify target markets, key customers, partners and sales channels to maximize revenue growth and market penetration according to overall business objectives.
  • Work with prospects and customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
  • Advise prospects on new and upcoming product features.
  • Manage sales cycle – prospects through to onboarded customers.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with customers.
  • Provide an orderly and seamless hand-over of new customers to our Customer Success and Customer Support teams.
  • Attend conferences and industry events to promote Airlock Digital.
  • Collaborate across the business on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including revenue forecasts, sales pipelines, and performance metrics.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the sales team to qualify leads and overcome obstacles to achieve sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and stakeholders.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to Airlock Digital Leadership on sales strategies and product enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 years in technology sales.
  • Experience executing go-to-market strategies and managing sales cycles across channels.
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written), presentation and speaking skills.
  • A sound understanding and working knowledge of cyber security industry, market and trends.
  • Strong connections in relevant markets and/or ability to network with business owners and technology leaders of all-size.
  • Recent experience as a senior sales leader with industry expertise and working in an expansion-stage, enterprise focused, B2B SaaS company.
  • A strong understanding of SaaS business models, sales cycles, and solution selling approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong drive for achieving and exceeding sales targets.

What We Offer

We don’t think money is everything, but we know it is an important part of your decision to apply for a role. This OTE for this position is $300,000.00. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
