Position Overview
The Group Home Manager provides day-to-day oversight of assigned residential programs. This includes supervising Direct Support Professionals, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation standards, managing scheduling, and fostering a safe, respectful home environment.
You will serve as the primary leader for your assigned home(s), modeling professionalism, accountability, and person-centered values.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing standards, and agency policies
- Monitor documentation accuracy, medical follow-ups, and program records
- Oversee scheduling, staffing coverage, and performance management
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and maintaining quality of life
- Communicate effectively with families, guardians, medical providers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain a safe, stable, and respectful residential environment
Qualifications
- Experience in residential services, human services, or developmental disabilities required
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation and compliance standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to challenges
- Professional communication and team leadership skills
- Minimum age of 21 with a valid Arizona driver’s license
- Ability to pass background checks, fingerprint clearance, and required trainings
