Full-Time Position
Aire Solutions is looking for an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team and help us continue growing our presence in Portageville and the surrounding Southeast Missouri area.
Aire Solutions has been serving Southeast Missouri for more than 50 years. As we expand our Portageville operation, we are looking for a technician who can represent our company locally, take care of our customers, and become an important part of our continued growth in the area.
Position Responsibilities
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and light-commercial HVAC equipment.
Daily responsibilities may include:
- Diagnose and repair air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and other HVAC equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and mechanical issues
- Work on traditional split systems, package units, and mini-split systems
- Communicate system conditions and repair options clearly with customers
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
- Provide professional, respectful customer service
- Identify equipment or system issues that may require additional repairs or replacement
- Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in residential HVAC service and diagnostics
- Comfortable troubleshooting electrical and refrigerant-related problems
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Professional when communicating with customers
- Organized and able to complete service paperwork accurately
- Willing to continue learning as HVAC technology changes
- Able to work as part of a team while managing their own service calls
EPA 608 certification is preferred.
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
Experience with inverter systems, mini splits, R-32, and R-454B equipment is a plus, but additional training can be provided.
