Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Avionics Tech to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of aircraft systems and components to ensure safety and compliance with aviation regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of avionics systems, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. We manage a fleet of 15 corporate jets, Hawkers and Citations, Falcons, Gulfstreams at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft airframe systems.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and Ammeters for electrical system diagnostics.
  • Execute welding tasks as required for structural repairs.
  • Oversee system updates, database and chart downloads
  • Experience on airframe and powerplant
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic and Avionics Technician or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of airframe systems, powerplant, avionics and aviation regulations.
  • Proficiency in soldering techniques for electrical components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and duplicate faults
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $85, $125,000.00 per year
