What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ecommerce & Sales Assistant position at Airblaster?
Airblaster is a small, well positioned, growing apparel and accessories company rooted in snowboarding and expanding into the outdoor space. We are looking for an Ecommerce & Sales Assistant to knock out assigned tasks as we continue to expand market share of the well-established Airblaster brand within snowboarding, and drive sales of the Ninja Suit into a broader retail distribution network.
Ecommerce & Sales Assistant winning candidate will have an upbeat and friendly attitude, great organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to take direction and solve problems independently. Confident and clear communication is a must. 75% of time seasonally devoted to Ecommerce duties; primarily customer service for DTC web sales, returns, and website maintenance. 25% of time seasonally devoted to assisting Sales, Design, and Marketing with various projects.
This position is Full Time and based in our Portland, Oregon office reporting to Director of Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Manage daily Shopify orders of myairblaster.com for timely delivery to customers
● Upload, update, and maintain Shopify website products and inventory
● Work with 3rd party warehouse via Blastramp and 3PL Extensive software to allocate orders and provide timely / complete delivery
● Respond to customer service and retailer inquiries in a timely and positive manor
● Utilize Loop Returns and The Returns Lab software to complete all DTC returns/exchanges/refunds
● Create and update Standard Operating Procedures for sales service processes
● Manage office sample inventory
● Assist Sales Director with major retailer needs, special projects, and reports as needed
● Assist Design team with various graphic design projects primarily in Adobe Illustrator and Dropbox
● Assist Marketing team with various projects like Catalog Photo Shoot
Qualifications:
● Sales and Customer service experience with demonstrated success
● Hands on knowledge of computer systems for B2B and B2C business - Shopify, BlastRamp, 3PL apps, etc.
● Attention to detail and strong drive to hit goals and deadlines
● Knowledge of the snowboard and outdoor industry preferred
● Master’s Degree in Physics. JK
● High skill level with MS Office apps (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google versions
● Training and high level of proficiency with Adobe Illustrator
● Must be able to work as part of a team with strong verbal and written communication skills
● Able to take direction, then ownership of a project and see it to completion
● Proficiency with quickly handling of many small tasks, constantly prioritizing to achieve results
