Delivery Assistant - Job Description
Delivery assistants help drivers to deliver products or equipment to customers and clients. Safely Install clean and inspect each unit at each delivery and pick up. Assist drivers in spotting trailers when backing up and routing when asked.

- Must be dependable, on time, and ready to start work at the beginning of shift.
***MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS*** and WEEKDAYS
- Must be able to lift and move 150 lbs on dolly and be in good physical condition as some of the work will be strenuous.
- Must be able to tolerate working in an outdoor environment (Heat!)
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently at times.
- Will need to be flexible with scheduling and last-minute plan changes.
- Customer service experience would be a plus. Having worked in a field where you had direct contact with customer communications.
- Good communication. The ability to communicate effectively with team and customers.
- Working Cell phone and reliable transportation
- Team Player and able to follow procedures That are already put in place.
- Assist the Driver in checking equipment load lists and Double check that all items have been collected upon pick-up.
- Always check that the truck and trailer loads have been secured at each stop.
Pay: Pay rate is hourly ($15-17 per hour) depending on experience level. Any Time off Is Required to be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. All Delivery Assistants are eligible for Performance based tips at the end of each month if they meet the tip pooling criteria.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
