Peak Roofing Partners is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions from its corporate office in Plantation, Florida. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining accurate financial reporting, strengthening accounting processes, and providing financial visibility to senior leadership across a growing, multi-location roofing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations across the organization.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and general ledger activities.
• Establish and maintain strong accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in partnership with leadership.
• Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with operations and business leaders to improve financial performance and accountability.
• Support financial reporting across multiple locations and business units.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, tax professionals, banks, and other financial partners.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal policies.
• Lead and develop accounting team members as the organization continues to scale.
• Support acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic financial initiatives.
• Improve accounting systems, reporting processes, and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Multi-location, construction, roofing, home services, or private-equity-backed experience is a plus.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
